4. Telepresence

In the 1960’s the idea of interacting with each other while being separated a great distance was very far-fetched. But as technology advanced, people were introduced to video conferencing, allowing people to stay in contact with their loved ones quite easily.

Recently, CISCO has begun work on making Telepresence more realistic. By combining sound, video and ambient lighting they hope to recreate the experience for both sender and receiver so that they will feel as though the other person is in the same room with them.
